Natalie McNeal (@frugalista) Natalie P. McNeal is a journalist, creator of TheFrugalista.com and author of The Frugalista Files: How One Woman Got Out of Debt Without Giving Up the Fabulous Life, a personal finance memoir chronicling her transformation from working poor to financial freedom.
For one month. Natalie chose to give up the little extras in her life like the hair salon, nail salon and dining out. When she realized she had saved almost $400, Natalie took a “vow of frugality.” That experiment launched her very successful Frugalista brand,
Natalie and her blog have been cited by Forbes, The New York Times, Financial Times, Washington Post and The Huffington Post. She’s served as a guest on CNN, Anderson Live and NPR. As a result of McNeal’s advocacy, the Oxford University Press nominated Frugalista as a finalist for Word of the Year. My Media Info named Natalie one of the Top 10 Personal Finance Experts on Twitter. The Huffington Post named Natalie a “Twitter Passionista,”a woman whose contributions on Twitter have helped to expand, influence and redefine how society views social networking.
Delia Camasca (@tvmediacareers) Delia Camasca started her career in media as a Broadcast Television Producer working on local news affiliate stations with Univision and Telemundo networks. She’s been an On- Air Correspondent for WPIX-TV Channel 11 for a public affairs program called “Best Talk on Location.” While at Channel 11 she was also an Associate Producer on a show that won an Emmy award for “Best Local Public Affairs” program. Ms. Camasca spent several years producing documentaries for PBS- WNET Channel 13. She’s been an instructor at Center for the Media Arts and a member of the Writer’s Guild of America and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. In the late 90’s Ms. Camasca transitioned into the field of Human Resources. Her career has included managing all aspects of HR and staffing. She’s recruited all levels of marketing, new media, advertising, editorial, news, journalists, broadcast and cable production staff and creative professionals. The last 7 years she has specialized in Talent Acquisition recruiting top talent for media giants such as NBC Universal, Disney ABC Media Networks, Lifetime Networks, and Warner Brothers/DC Comics. While at NBC Universal, she was the Manager of Campus Relations where she managed a bicoastal team to recruit, place, train and coach thousands of interns a year. As an independent Career Coach and Contract Corporate Recruiter, she specializes in working with media professionals. Most recently she served as a consultant for DataXu, an advertising media technology company and is currently consulting for HBO. Chris Lesser is an accomplished HR and recruiting professional with over 17 years of experience. He is currently Lead, Talent Acquisition Sourcing Programs at AOL Inc. In his role, he oversees internal mobility, the employee referral program, talent community management, senior executive succession planning, and interview training for managers. Chris is often called upon by colleagues for advice and consulting about university recruiting, onboarding, interview training, and talent sourcing. In his free time he’s an avid health and fitness advocate and is always willing to help people accomplish their goals be them personal, professional, or health related.
